About
Welcome to myhbuns — Where Everyday Magic Comes to Life
Based in Malaysia, myhbuns is a small illustration and surface-design studio inspired by stories, memories, animals, places and the little details that stay with us.
Some designs begin with a character. Others begin with a feeling — the memory of a seaside afternoon, a carousel turning somewhere in the distance, flowers in bloom, a quiet winter street, or a moment that simply makes us smile.
Storytelling has always been at the heart of myhbuns. Here, mice wander into unexpected adventures, curious creatures find themselves in strange little situations, and recurring friends return from one story to the next. Alongside them are quieter pieces shaped more by atmosphere, colour and memory.
It’s A Mice Life was one of the earliest worlds to take shape at myhbuns, following little mice through travels, friendships, celebrations and the occasional mishap. Since then, the world has grown to include The Other Furry Tales, home to many of our other creatures and their stories, and The Enchanted Atelier, where feelings, memories and atmosphere take the lead.
The name myhbuns began as a small nod to much-loved rabbits and grew into the name of this slightly whimsical little world.
Today, myhbuns brings these stories and illustrations to everyday objects — pieces made to add a little warmth, character and imagination to ordinary moments.
Thank you for wandering into our little corner of the world. I hope you find something here that makes you smile, remember, or stay a little longer.
With love,
Jean
